Introducing the Avanti Sails Tempest V2 Monfilm 2022.

The Tempest is best described as an easier to ride version of the Machine M8. It is a freerace sail, which focuses fully on performance. This has been improved enormously in the 2021 series with a high-aspect layout, as with the slalom sails.

With only 7 battens and a twist similar to that of the Machine M8, the almost only difference to the slalom sails is the handling. The narrower mast pocket, less cambers and a slightly reduced loose leech make the sail much easier to control, but cost a little performance in the high-end area.

This trade-off is the optimal way for every freeracer who wants to advance to the next level, both in the membrane and in the monofilm version. The differences between the Tempest V2 and competing products are noticeable from the first moment.

This system enables faster rigging and de-rigging of the sail, thanks to a click mechanism that connects the line at the end of the boom directly to the sail. No more annoying knots - one click and GO!

Monofilm Version

The cheaper classic monofilm version does without the very soft driving experience, but is still an absolute performance guarantee. Particularly UV-resistant and high-quality materials were used for this cheaper construction in order to come as close as possible to the performance and durability of the membrane version.
