The roller fairlead on the Clamcleat® CL236 allows ropes to enter the cleat from above. Ideal forsun umbrellas, shades & sun sails, where the dark grey CL236AN looks good on carbon fiber poles. Also dinghy control lines. CL236 is also used fordrop-down work surfaces. 

Available in two finishes:
—CL236hasa silver stove enamel finish for a cost-effective, high-quality coating. A nylon version is available for lower loads—CL203/S1.
—CL236ANhasa hard anodized finish to give a hard-wearing surface.

- TheCL236/S1also includes a becket, for a 2:1 advantage or to hold bungee.
- The CL236 is fixed to theCL827-36, which rigs in mid-air.
