Protective gear for water sports enthusiasts who know what can happen on the water
Forward WIP was founded in 2015 with a specific goal: to develop safety equipment for water sports enthusiasts that actually works, particularly for foiling, which reaches speeds of over 30 km/h. Since the human body is naturally designed to withstand impact speeds of up to 20 km/h, higher speeds create new risks that make protective gear a real concern. Forward WIP has since established itself as a leading brand for protective gear in competitive water sports, worn by World Cup athletes and Olympians.
Technology that provides real protection
Forward WIP does not develop its products based on the idea that “soft enough feels safe.” Each product line is based on proprietary technologies: WIP Inside ensures precise impact absorption in helmets and vests, WIP 3DS features a three-dimensional mapping system that precisely adapts protective layers to the body’s shape, and Eco Cork provides sustainable protective inserts made from recycled industrial waste. Flow Vortex technology optimizes aerodynamic and hydrodynamic properties so that protective gear doesn’t slow the rider down. The result is products that are as unobtrusive as possible out on the trail, but are there exactly when it matters most.
