With the EAGLE and the brand-new BLITZ, we offer two boards for the freeride >< freerace segment that cover everything from learning to glide to becoming the fastest surfer at your spot. Imagine combining this with the same high-end FULL CUSTOM D/LAB construction we use for the FALCON_FIN, and there you have it: The EAGLE and the BLITZ D/LAB CUSTOMIZED are the stiffest, lightest, and fastest-planing boards in their class. 1) EAGLE: IT’S ALL ABOUT GLIDE

• Where you’re coming from:You’vehad your first windsurfing experiences and can stay upwind. There’s no other board that lets you experience the feeling of gliding in such a short time as the EAGLE. 
• Where it will take you: Besides planing, jibing is the EAGLE’s second strength. But it’s not just designed for learning the (power) jibe—it’ll even take you all the way to freerace speed and laydown jibes.

2) BLITZ: MAXIMUM PERFORMANCE WITH MINIMAL EFFORT

• Where you’re coming from: If you already feel comfortable in the footstraps, then the BLITZ is your performance board! 
• Where it will take you: The BLITZ will instantly make you a faster windsurfer. With playful handling on the rails, it will be your partner from your first power jibes all the way to laydown race jibes. Combined with a high-performance fin and a freerace sail, the BLITZ could even make you the fastest rider at your spot without sacrificing comfort without having to compromise on a freeride board.

When developing the BLITZ, the main goal was to create a board with maximum performance and minimal effort that remains controllable across the widest possible wind range. But how could we develop a board that works under such varied conditions and for such a wide range of skill levels?

First of all

the BLITZ follows the same VOLUME YET CONTROL CONCEPT as the EAGLE. This means you can easily choose a board 10 liters larger than those from other brands without losing control in overpowered conditions. Thanks to the extra volume, the board feels more stable underfoot in off-wind conditions and also planes earlier than boards with less volume, without sacrificing high-end performance and control. 

Furthermore, in experienced hands, the BLITZ can be jibbed aggressively, yet thanks to its wide tail, it feels light and supple even for advanced riders. This allows you to progress through all jibbing levels without ever “outgrowing” the board.

And finally, we’ve integrated several features from our World Cup slalom boards:

• The more racy/boxy rails and a wider strap position allow the rider to push harder, causing the board to fly over the fin and reach a higher top speed.
• The 2 STEP CUTOUTS further reduce drag at full speed and give you an edge over your friends.
• The RECESSED MAST TRACK AERA lowers the rig connection and improves control and aerodynamics, for an ideal “Close The Gap.”

Maximum control and predictable handling across a wide wind range also make the BLITZ the ideal companion for long-distance trips and races with maximum control.

The incredibly wide range of use can be expanded even further by swapping out the fin, which noticeably affects the board’s characteristics:

• The F_RIDE fin included with the board makes the BLITZ very comfortable to ride and forgives mistakes when jibing.
• As an aftermarket fin, the BLITZ can be paired with our RACE D/LAB fin, developed by Dani Aeberli and tested by Jordy Vonk. With this fin, the BLITZ becomes a freerace machine that’s hard to beat.
