Description

Duotone Tail D/LAB

Our D/LAB carbon tails are the rear section of the fuselage that fits all of our D/LAB front wings.

Once connected with the “invisible” M6 screw, they give the impression that our glider is made from a single piece of carbon fiber.

The unique trick is our clever design, which hides the screw connecting the tail to the front wing beneath the mast. This allows us to eliminate the traditional, visible screw heads found on our competitors’ Foils with similar semi-glider designs.

The D/LAB tails are available in three lengths. A shorter 37 cm section, which, when paired with a front wing, corresponds to the 60 cm fuselage, a 43 cm tail that corresponds to the 66 cm fuselage, and a 47 cm tail that fits the 70 cm fuselage.

Choose the 37 cm tail for an agile ride and the ability to make tighter turns, or go with the 43 cm tail for the perfect balance between maneuverability and control. The 47 cm tail offers maximum stability at high speeds and pairs perfectly with our Blitz D/LAB, but is also compatible with all other D/LAB Foils.

An additional 4th M6 screw can be used with the Blitz D/LAB wings to further improve the tail’s stability and control at high speeds. All other D/LAB gliders come with a custom-fit cover to close the additional hole for the 4th screw.

The carbon construction of the D/LAB tails not only guarantees maintenance-free operation but also ensures a strong connection to the front wing via two M8 and one M6 screw (37 cm & 43 cm) or two M6 screws (47 cm) ensures that the entire Foil is as rigid as a one-piece slider, such as those found on our Daytona Foils models.
