Five battens, maximum range, high-end control wave sail. Additional control and range in a wide variety of conditions: the brand new Banzai Max Pro is our 5-batten wave sail. 5 battens provide greater stability and higher top speeds.
Handling:
Compared to the Banzai 11 Pro and Banzai Surf Pro, the lift is slightly higher and more centrally positioned, promoting a more upright but neutral riding feel. This provides great drive and performance in the lower speed range, but also excellent control in the upper speed range.

X Pro construction:
Main window panel: 6 mm X-Ply film with a black Ultra-PE fiber that offers high modulus tensile strength and high tensile strength. The fiber configuration allows for maximum fiber performance while blending into the background. Black yarns have extremely low reflectivity, which means they absorb all light and disappear when you look through the sail, providing the best possible, unobstructed view through the sail window.
Upper window panels: 5 mm Dimension-Polyant polyester X-PLY models are designed for reduced stretch and increased tear resistance.
Upper color panels: 2.5 mm Scrim from Dimension-Polyant is a polyester scrim plus Foot/tack panel: 4 mm Aramid Scrim features an improved scrim with larger denier fibers, while retaining the high-strength Aramid X-PLY. It has much higher tear and puncture resistance at the highest stress levels when surfing.
Carbon stretch control tapes are made from bundles of pre-stressed carbon fibers to ensure low stretch and no curling. Improved PSA adhesive allows for aggressive stickiness. The use of these tapes allows for easier and more efficient reinforcement of patches and sails.
