We present the Loftsails Racingblade 2026/2027.

At the heart of the Loftsails racing program is the Racingblade—a consistently developed performance sail for maximum efficiency with Fins setups. Built specifically for slalom racing, it complies with all PWA regulations and delivers exactly what ambitious racers need: brutal acceleration and top speed without compromise.

For 2026, the Racingblade goes one step further with subtle but effective updates for even better handling and more power:

Carefully adjusted batten angles and luff curves improve balance and lower the sail's center of gravity. A slightly lowered foot area provides more control—and even more propulsion when you're going full throttle. The higher aspect ratio and revised profile shape reduce drag and ensure a locked-in, aerodynamic ride across a wide wind range.

At the heart of the Racingblade is a high-precision batten setup: longer rods and set-back tubes create a flatter entry profile, which further reduces drag and enables faster, smoother cam rotation. All battens are housed in alternating X-Ply batten pockets, which prevent asymmetry and keep the sail clean and stable under load.

New for 2026 is the 30% lighter TekCam 3 system from Loftsails —for even smoother rotation and support of the optimized profile while keeping rigging simple.

The mast pocket is made of 2 mil Quad-Axial X-Ply and IYU250 fabric, forming a two-layer, stretch-resistant zone from the head to the tack. This ensures that the fit remains precise even after many sessions. For added durability, a 50 mm wide, triple-stitched seam is now used on the mast pocket - built for years of use in rigging and racing.

The new Dual Kevlar clew radials stabilize the profile even under heavy pressure, distribute forces more evenly, and ensure constant propulsion.
Reinforcements in the window, leech and foot area are made of robust X-Ply laminate, while the 4.0 mil Bi-Ply panels in the body provide top resistance to UV and stretching. New for 2026: - for greater durability in high-wear areas and long-lasting, reliable performance.
