Introducing the NeilPryde Combat HD 2024.
Core Wave – Responsive & Lightweight
The sail of choice for our World Cup team. This Neilpryde Combat Pro Fuse has been completely redesigned and is our most advanced wavesail ever. A higher aspect ratio (ratio of luff to boom length), with a slightly longer mast, slightly more area in the top and a shorter one Boom, improves the high-end control of the latest version of our best-selling wavesail once again clearly. The use of Q-Bond Panels and Ultra Scrim reduces weight by up to 25%.
Minimum weight – maximum strength
The Neilpryde Combat Pro HD construction combines the lightweight Ultra Scrim panels of our Pro Fuse sails with an X-Ply window to create a virtually indestructible sail. The Powerfuse technology in the foot and clew areas offers a professional strength-to-weight ratio at a lower price than the Pro Fuse design.
Core Wave – reliably heavy duty
The Neilpryde Combat HD construction is our most affordable construction that still delivers what it promises. The Ultra - PEX-Ply sail panels with an X-Ply window form an extremely durable sail, which is still very light in the hand. The use of our exclusive Powerfuse technology in the foot and clew represents a significant upgrade from previous HD models, providing a pro-level strength-to-weight ratio at a more affordable price than Pro-Fuse technology.

Sail characteristics
| Drive and acceleration |
A new, higher aspect ratio for 2024 with a slightly longer luff, narrower boom and larger head gives the Combat excellent propulsion and acceleration, whether in the wave or when starting in marginal conditions. |
| Wide wind range | Thanks to the redesigned outline, updated preference curve and new, larger panel layout, the 2024 Combat is the most versatile version of this sail. Fully rig it if the wind is light or you want to use a smaller sail for extra maneuverability, or add a little more downhaul tension if you're getting ready for overpowered conditions. |
| Stability |
Our latest luff curve and sail shaping have stiffened the sail very slightly compared to 2023, and the result is a fortitude that will remain stable even in strong winds. |
| Light weight |
Our new panel layout has drastically reduced the number of seams needed for the sail. This, combined with carefully planned material choices, has allowed us to reduce the weight of the sails by approximately 25% compared to last year. |
