These boards were designed to meet the specific needs of competitive wingfoilers and offer the perfect balance of power transfer, speed, and carving control. The 45L is the most compact board in the range and is ideal for maintaining control at high speeds, such as during speed record attempts or long-distance events like the Defi Wing in nuclear winds.
The 60L, 75L, and 90L models are designed with a longer aspect ratio but remain slightly shorter and narrower than traditional mid-length boards. This gives you greater agility when pumping, tacking, and jibing, while also providing maximum stability during the most demanding Wingfoil-races are guaranteed.
Compared to traditional wingboards, this shape features a steeper rake. Combined with a flatter deck for direct power transfer, the banana rocker line ensures smooth acceleration, while the more pronounced bevels along the entire length improve carving precision. This enables fast turns and efficient pumping. The boards are stiffer and lighter than many other designs, delivering faster response times and better performance in the toughest conditions.
PERFORMANCE FEATURES
Increased rake:
The boards have a higher native rake, providing greater power and comfort at high speeds and with steep heel angles.
Flutter deck in the front-foot area:
A more neutral deck shape helps you generate maximum power transfer when pumping and pushing, and provides a direct connection to the board for better efficiency in all racing conditions.
Aerodynamic shape:
Ensures a clean takeoff in the air. The boards feel super stable and have natural lift even in light winds.
Curvy Rocker Line:
Provides a smooth glide while remaining responsive at higher speeds. It helps you get up to speed faster Foil to get there and stay there, even in choppy or gusty winds.
Pronounced bevels:
The bevels are clearly defined along the entire length and give you more leeway when carving if you accidentally hit some chop. At the same time, they increase stability during high-speed turns around the markers.
Lightweight & rigid construction:
Made with full carbon PVC construction, these boards are lightweight and extremely stiff, enabling faster response and minimal flex—ideal for high-performance racing and aggressive winging.
US 10 and Tuttle Box:
Equipped with US-10' rails and a Tuttle box, virtually all Foils compatible. The heavily reinforced construction around the speakers ensures excellent Foil-Grip and better control in all conditions, for maximum performance in Wing-Racing.
Each size in the WBR range has its own specific rocker profile, optimized for both glide and acceleration. The smaller boards feature a steeper rocker for quick acceleration, while the larger boards have a slightly more relaxed rocker. This ensures a smoother ride and better control during touchdowns in downwind race segments.
