We present the Sailloft Quad 2024.

Soft + Powerful = Quad

The 2024 Sailloft Quad represents a massive evolutionary step compared to its predecessor. It always seemed incompatible to softly tune a powerful sail. But with the 2024 Quad we have achieved exactly that. This required countless prototypes and we had to dig really deep into our bag of tricks to realize the requirements profile.

The changes in detail:

By changing the profiling in Boom- area, the quad now stands completely flat without wind, offering a perfect on-off for maneuvers and wave riding. By including the mast pocket, the maximum profile depth is retained. As soon as the sail is blown, it delivers a lot of thrust, but it comes on very gently. With this controlled acceleration you go into the next jump with full power.

The highlight, however, is the completely newly developed luff curve. It ensures that every rider – whether light or heavy – can set their favorite trim. Every preference from flat to extra bulbous is possible. The required loose leech is automatically generated.

As is usual at Sailloft, the development was carried out specifically for sail sizes. Each size is tailored to the specific wind range in which the sail will be used. Depending on the requirements, the fork was shortened for better handling and/or the top was flared further to fine-tune the loose leech.

The result is the best quad ever.
