Severne S-1 2027 Sail

The S-1 is a high-performance wave sail with 4 battens: light, flexible, and instantly responsive—pre-tensioned and ready to deliver power on command. The 027 is a completely new design across all sizes. DirectConnect now extends to an inner luff panel connecting the throat and head: the main loads are distributed through the structure, allowing the sail body to set up faster and react more quickly. A split mast pocket makes inserting the mast faster and rigging easier; an optimized head and clew construction further reduces swing weight; and the wind range has increased across all sizes. The first thing riders notice: It feels light—it is light, and its balance along with the short boom geometry make it feel even lighter. D6 Dacron provides elasticity in the leading edge sections, while VX2 stabilizes the body panels. The result is a consistent pressure point between the hands: enough back-end pressure for performance, but never so much that it causes fatigue.
