Description
Pro surfer and world champion Edouard Delpero and shaper Alain Minvielle worked on this shape.
Alain Minvielle has extensive shaping experience in California and a keen sense of the flow and glide of the classic style. Together with Edouard, they’ve developed a classic shape inspired by 1960s longboard models (no edge) while adding a more modern bottom line to create the perfect cruiser with surprising maneuverability.
The critical part of this design lies in the rocker and volume distribution—the rocker curve allows you to hold noserides in the pocket while gliding just as smoothly in small conditions as in bigger waves. The unique volume distribution across the entire board, from a thick nose to a thin tail, allows for stylish cross-steps and effortless turns.
9.2 x 23 x 3 1/8 – 77.2 liters volume
US fin box
Color: White, matte
Includes: Board without fins
TEC - TORQ EPOXY COMPOSITE
Torq Epoxy Composite offers high-performance shapes in our state-of-the-art epoxy layup. These boards provide the best balance between lightness and durability. Using our own unique lamination process, we’re able to combine a very strong fiberglass layup of 6oz and 4oz in a three-ply deck and a two-ply bottom (with a four-layer rail overlap) combined with high-density EPS foam, while still achieving a board weight comparable to that of a lightweight fiberglass layup.
The result is a lightweight yet very stable board with good flex characteristics and, as with all torq boards, an excellent price-to-performance ratio.
