Pro surfer and world champion Edouard Delpero and shaper Alain Minvielle worked on this shape.
The first ED Pro was a narrow, competition-ready shape with a high rocker that allowed you to surf vertically and close to the pocket. The Minvielle ED Pro Wide is an evolution of this shape - developed to meet the WSL rating criteria - a high performance longboard with extremely good noseriding capabilities, with a little more width in the middle and a filled out nose. Although the board has slightly more swing weight, it massively increases the glide area in the nose to enable long stable noserides. This also improves speed on the water and makes catching waves easier.
The tail retains the high rocker characteristics to get hard off the bottom or carve a solid rail turn.

Torq Epoxy Composite offers high performance shapes in our state of the art epoxy layup. These boards offer the best balance between lightness and durability. With our own unique lamination process we are able to use a very strong 6oz and 4oz fiberglass layup in a three layer deck and a two layer base (with a four layer rail overlap) with a high density EPS foam and still achieve a board weight equivalent to a lightweight fiberglass layup.
The result is a lightweight but very stable board with good flex characteristics and as with all torq's an excellent price/performance ratio.
