The new generation of Poweride sails takes the freeride experience to a new level. Both the membrane and the monofilm version are characterized by a powerful profile in the lower sail area and are clearly aimed at performance. The profile is similar to that of the Tempest, but foregoes a high-aspect approach in order to be able to generate enough backhand pressure even without camber.

The focus of development was on maximizing and stabilizing the pressure point, which noticeably simplifies the driving experience. The 2021 SURF test rated the sail as perfectly balanced and the Poweride also came out on top in the rotation.

The membrane version of the Poweride is also the lightest freeride sail on the market at 4.0kg (7.0sqm). So if you are looking for a sporty sail that works without the handling deficits of camber sails, the Poweride is perfect for you.

Monofilm version

The cheaper classic monofilm version does without the very soft driving feeling, but is still an absolute guarantee of performance. For this cheaper construction, particularly UV-resistant and high-quality materials were used in order to come as close as possible to the performance and durability of the membrane version.
