The new generation of Poweride sails takes the freeride experience to a new level. Both the membrane and the monofilm version are characterized by a powerful profile in the lower sail area and are clearly aimed at performance. The profile is similar to that of the Tempest, but does without a high-aspect approach in order to be able to generate enough backhand pressure even without cambers.

The development focused on maximizing and stabilizing the pressure point, which noticeably simplifies the driving experience. The 2021 SURF test rated the sail as perfectly balanced and the Poweride was also the test winner in rotation.

The membrane version of the Poweride is also the lightest freeride sail on the market at 4.0kg (7.0qm). So if you are looking for a sporty sail that works without the handling deficits of camber sails, the Poweride is the perfect choice.

Monofilm Version

The cheaper classic monofilm version does without the very soft driving experience, but is still an absolute performance guarantee. Particularly UV-resistant and high-quality materials were used for this cheaper construction in order to come as close as possible to the performance and durability of the membrane version.
