It may not quite match the speed of the FRIGATE, but it makes up for it with control and comfort, allowing you to dive into the swells in a relaxed and effortless manner.
The QUEST also features a new Double Dynamic Bridle System that enhances the pocket Wing making it more direct and easier to handle while minimizing the risk of tangles. It also features smooth and intuitive power management with precise feedback through the bar.
Beginners will appreciate the extra feel in their back hand when powering up, as well as the effortless depower, which makes those first sessions much easier. Double Dynamic Bridle System
The innovative Double Dynamic Bridle System eliminates the need for a B-connector on the bar without any additional yokes, pulleys, or complicated bridle setups. The result is a system that is as clean and simple as it is effective. This reduced complexity minimizes the risk of tangles while ensuring precise feedback and intuitive power management.
The system acts simultaneously on the front and back lines, thereby optimizing the shape and balance of the Pocket Wing during both power-up and power-down. Some bridles are activated when the Wing some are open, others are engaged without the rider having to make any adjustments. This makes everything feel more natural and efficient.
Thanks to this design, the Pocket Wing significantly more comfortable, especially in the upper wind range even without a harness. With the central bridles eliminated, the area around the bar remains completely unobstructed, allowing for a larger grip zone, greater freedom of movement, and a clearer view while riding.
In addition, the Double Dynamic Bridle System maximizes performance at both the low and high ends of the wind range, while also making it easier to stow the kite and allowing for significantly faster roll-out after a downwind run. It also improves control over the sail’s tension and noticeably reduces wrinkling even when the Wing is driven with the roof fully open.
New Vertical Bar
The QUEST features a new vertical carbon bar design with a contoured center section and extra length at the front. This design improves grip and comfort—especially near the front bridles while providing a solid point of support that is particularly effective in strong winds.
Thanks to the lightweight Extension The bar allows the rider to depower more easily, without exerting much force or straining the wrists. This optimizes the balance between the front and back hands and reduces the pressure on the front hand when riding without a harness. The ergonomic design ensures more efficient handling and makes learning more intuitive.
The rider can also lean on this balance point and Wing open with a single motion. In strong winds, when immediate depower is needed, this bar extension provides a significant boost in stability and control.
The new bar also features a small protective tube at the A-point that fully protects your fingers if the sail rotates during maximum depower or when packing it up. At the same time, the pivot point is raised slightly, making the overall handling feel smoother and more comfortable while further improving depower efficiency.
In addition, the bar features an EVA grip for better handling, as well as EVA protectors on all edges to shield riders and equipment from impacts.
Pack Assist
The QUEST was designed to make packing a Pocket Wing quick and easy. Its bridle system is short and streamlined, which allows the Wing can be packed intuitively and effortlessly.
The Pack-Assist system uses a special set of front bridles that instantly reduce the wing’s power. All you have to do is slide your hand a few centimeters along the white spliced bridles, and the QUEST will immediately become neutral.
The Wing It naturally takes on a stable shape for downwind runs and is perfect for stowing in your stash belt.
Thanks to this design, an additional depower handle is no longer needed. The bridle system remains simple and clean, making the QUEST even easier and more intuitive to use.
D-Ribs
Like the FRIGATE, the QUEST is equipped with D-ribs, which ensure optimal control and perfect tension management of the canopy. The result is improved glide performance thanks to fewer bridles, a wider wind range, and impressive rigidity.
