Once you're on the wave, the Rocket Wing-S is in its element. Extremely responsive, it translates every movement directly into action on the wave. You can lean into turns intuitively and take your wave riding to a new level.
Although the boards have the same compact length as the Rocket Wing models, they are narrower and have slightly less volume, making them more maneuverable and agile in the waves.
Compared to the previous models, the new Rocket Wing-S offers slightly more volume for the same length. So you can choose either a smaller board with the same volume or a larger, more stable board with the same length. The compact shape and outline of the board significantly increase maneuverability and overall performance.
The volume is perfectly distributed to ensure stability, balance, and control during take-off and flight. The curved nose provides additional volume at the front for easy, fast takeoffs, while the ergonomically recessed deck brings you closer to the Foil for a direct, connected riding experience. The straighter rocker in the rear foot and Foils areas ensures optimal balance in every phase of the ride.
Take-offs have never been so smooth: the double concave bottom and beveled rails to the tail make pumping easier and get you flying in no time. At the rear, a pronounced step in the hull and the bevels help the board lift cleanly out of the water, reducing friction and ensuring faster acceleration. The surf-inspired nose gives you a secure, comfortable feeling in the wave and helps you get back up quickly if it dips.
The bamboo construction with bamboo reinforcements on the deck provides a very sturdy but lightweight shell all around.
All boards are equipped with a full-surface pad with new, comfortable ribbing, inserts for three foot straps, and the Twin Tracks system for Foil compatibility. The position of the inserts has been adjusted to allow for a narrower stance and more angle in the back foot, for a surfing position that feels more natural and precise.
