We present the Point-7 Alu+ Double Cleat Extension.
Comment from the Wind Lounge team:
A classic from Point-7 is the aluminum windsurf mast extension. It has been known for years as an extremely solid and practical addition to any conceivable rig. Its special feature is the double clamp. This allows a sail to be set up from both sides. The RDM version, which is often used for wave sailing, is particularly impressive in this regard. This is because wave sails are often set up in different orientations (or blow wildly around). In addition, some sail brands use a reverse roller system – here too, the Extension clearly scores points. The workmanship is high quality and the roller system runs smoothly.
We recommend the 3.8 mm Formuline rope. This is included, but should be replaced at regular intervals. You will of course find this in our shop in the future.

Product description from Point-7:
Having the right tools is half the work done. The Point-7 extensions are based on a very simple, indestructible system that is quick and easy to use and allows for effortless downhaul, even on very large sails.
The pulley and cleat system is attached directly onto the aluminum tubing, with no crossing lines. With the brass rollers, downhaul efforts are reduced to the absolute minimum.
Quick functionality points on the base system:
- Double Cleat for rigging on both Starboard and Portack side.
- Guided cleat for easy rope blocking
- 3 rolls for use with 4 pulley systems on the sail.
The extension tubes are made from strong T8 grade aluminum and are available in lengths of32 cm/48 cmwith adjustment increments of 2 cm. The extensions can be sailed at the full 32 cm or 48 cm extension heights and are supplied with the original Marlow 3.8mm Formuline rope.
