Point 7 Fixed Quick Release harness lines

The Point 7 Windsurf Quick Release harness lines are identical to the classic Point 7 harness lines, but offer a crucial additional function.

Thanks to an uncomplicated click mechanism, it is possible to detach the rope from the boom at the touch of a button. That can give a great sense of security. Because the classic situation "strong skidding fall and you are under the sail and still "stuck" in the harness ropes is very easy to resolve with this.

Since these situations rarely become really dangerous, we only recommend these ropes to windsurfers who panic badly if they get stuck under the sail in the rope. So if you are familiar with this situation, you will find an ingenious and unique solution here. If this situation doesn't give you a headache, you can relax and reach for the classic Point 7 trapeze ropes.

It is not necessary to disassemble the wishbone to assemble the harness lines. These lines are not adjustable and are therefore only suitable for windsurfers who know how long they would like their harness lines to be.

Harness ropes should be replaced regularly. We recommend changing the lines once a year if you windsurf frequently. For occasional windsurfers we recommend an annual check of the ropes and a change every two years.

"Frequent windsurfing" applies to windsurfing from 1x per week. So at least 52 sessions per year.

"Casual windsurfer" applies to windsurfing less than once a week. So less than 52 sessions per year.
